Growing in Christ, Living the Truth

"As each one has received a gift, use it to serve one another as good stewards of God's varied grace" — 1 Peter 4:10

Online Commitment Cards

Each year, as a parish family, we take this moment to renew our commitments together. Even if your commitments haven’t changed, the very act of pausing, praying, and saying ‘yes’ again to God is what makes stewardship come alive.

Physical pledge cards can be brought to Mass  or the Parish Office, mailed back in the envelope provided, or filled out online here. Thank you for your commitment to the St. Jude Community!

Our 8:30 am Mass on Monday Mornings have been cancelled for the foreseeable future, as Fr. Tony awaits the result from his application for a Religious Worker's Visa. We hope for a speedy result. We will announce the resumption of Monday Morning Masses at a future date.

Stewardship in the Catholic tradition is a way of life rooted in gratitude for God's abundant gifts, calling individuals and communities to responsibly manage and share their time, talent, and treasure for the glory of God and the service of others. It emphasizes a deep spiritual commitment to recognize that everything belongs to God, and as faithful stewards, Catholics are entrusted to use these gifts—whether material, spiritual, or personal—to build up the Church, support the poor, and advance the Kingdom of God. This holistic approach, inspired by Scripture and Church teaching, fosters generosity, accountability, and a joyful response to God's love, encouraging parishes and individuals to live out their faith through active participation and sacrificial giving.

Stewardship of Time

God has gifted us with time. How we spend our time reflects our love and gratitude to our Heavenly Father. Do we use it to cultivate our relationship with Him and our loved ones? Prayer is a primary way to deepen our relationship with God. It strengthens and nourishes the life of a disciple. In this Jubilee Year of Hope, the Church invites us to be pilgrims of hope who renew our faith in the promises of God and live joyfully in anticipation of their fulfillment. Do we trust in God’s plan for us? Do we reflect on the good things He has promised? Through prayer, we open our lives to the voice of God and discover His unending love for us.

Stewardship of Talent

As pilgrims of hope, we are called to spread the Good News and inspire hope in others, especially those experiencing hardship. Stewardship reminds us that God has given each of us unique talents to be used for His glory and the good of others. Out of gratitude to God, we are invited to share our talents to build His Kingdom. Are you using your gifts to serve the Lord? How is God calling you to serve Him today?

Stewardship of Treasure

Just as time and talent are gifts from God, so too are material possessions — our treasure. Stewardship invites us to surrender all that we have to God’s plan, including our financial resources. When we trustingly offer our treasure to God, we experience the freedom, joy, and hope that come from relying on Him.

Ways to Give

Stewardship Prayer

Father in heaven, transform our hearts and reawaken in us the blessed hope that your Son secured for us on the cross.

Jesus, direct our path and help us to steward our time, talent, and treasure so that our lives may be beacons of your redeeming light to the world.

Holy Spirit, help us to recognize the gifts you entrust to us.

Inspire us with generous hearts to cooperate with your grace as we pursue the pilgrim path toward your glorious kingdom.

AMEN

For 65 years, St. Jude has been home for the Catholic faithful on the southside of Indianapolis. With over 1,500 parish families and 450 students, our community thrives through generations of sacrificial giving. Together, we’ve built a foundation of love, faith, and service, and now, we look to the future with renewed purpose.

After extensive prayer, consultation, and a thorough facilities review, we are launching our Continuing the Mission, Investing in Our Future Capital Campaign. Guided by a facilities master plan developed in 2024, this campaign addresses our most pressing needs and prepares us to grow and thrive for decades to come. Rooted in stewardship, this effort ensures we honor the blessings God has bestowed upon us while strengthening our mission to serve faithfully, sacrificially, and prayerfully.

We invite you to learn more about this campaign and prayerfully consider how you can participate. Every gift matters, and your generosity will ensure St. Jude continues to be a home of faith, service, and love for future generations.
