This ministry welcomes you to a Personal Journey for Mothers. The eight journey sessions, which meet once a week, create in women an awareness of the inner sacred self and teaches them new ways to inspire, encourage and affirm each other. Members include: working moms, stay-at-home moms, grandmoms, empty nesters, aunts....

Using the book MOMS: A Personal Journal, each of the eight sessions begins and ends with a prayer ritual designed to enhance the Christian perspective on each of the following topics:

  • Self-Esteem and Self-Acceptance
  • Stress, Worries and Anxiety
  • Everyday Spirituality
  • Feelings
  • Personal Goal Setting
  • Expressing Values in Friendship
  • Discernment of Gifts
  • Celebration of New Beginnings

MOMS

Pulled in too many directions? No time for your own spirituality? Want to connect with other women who understand where you are? The St. Jude Ministry of Mothers Sharing group helps women rediscover the sacred vocation of motherhood while learning to nurture their spiritual lives and support one another. In a small group setting, mothers of all ages, in all stages of life, will develop new friendships, strengthen their relationships with God and their families, and renew their own spirituality.

During 8 weekly sessions, you will gather with your group for two hours for prayer, journaling and sharing with others. A team of trained facilitators will lead you through the sessions with discussions from the book MOMS: A Personal Journey. Sessions are held on Tuesdays In the Children’s Liturgy of the Word Room in church. Choose from the morning session beginning at 9 a.m. or the evening session at 7 p.m. Childcare is available during the sessions.
