Christian life is about loving and serving as Jesus taught and did. Those called to serve God and the Christian community as bishops, priests, deacons and lay ecclesial ministers have Christ's invitation to love God's people with an unfailing "fatherly" love, rooted in their own dedication to the Lord and His gospel.
St. Jude wishes to provide support to parishioners discerning a religious or lay vocational call for their lives. Our parish priest and lay ecclesial staff members are always available to meet with parishioners to help guide them in their discernment process. Please call our Pastor at the Parish Center at 786-4371 for more information and discussion. Those considering entering the priesthood or a religious vocation, please contact the Archdiocesan Vocation Office at 236-1490.

Pray for Vocations!
The need is critical for more men and women to dedicate themselves to serving our Lord and His flock in the religious life. As Christ once said, in sending out His disciples in ministry, “the harvest is great but the laborers are few” (Matthew 9:37). We offer prayers for vocations to help send more “laborers” to bring our Lord an abundant crop of people whose lives have been transformed by the graces they receive from our faith!
We thank all those men and women who have answered God’s call and encourage others to do so as well. Let us pray that the Holy Spirit helps more and more people discern whether or not the Lord is calling them to the priesthood or the religious life (perhaps as a Brother, Sister, or Deacon).
Loving and Generous God, it is You who call us by name and ask us to follow You. Help us to grow in the Love and Service of our Church as we experience it today. Give us the energy and courage of Your Spirit to shape its future.
Grant us faith-filled leaders who will embrace Christ's Mission of love and justice. Bless the Church of St. Jude Catholic Church by raising up dedicated and generous leaders from our families and friends who will serve Your people as Sisters, Priests, Brothers, Deacons and Lay Ministers. Inspire us to know You better and open our hearts to hear Your call. We ask this through our Lord.

Pray for all Religious Orders, Priests, Deacons, and Seminarians serving the Archdiocese of Indianapolis
O Jesus, our great High Priest, hear our humble prayers on behalf of Thy servants.
Give them a deep faith, a bright and firm hope, and a burning love which will ever
increase in the course of their life. In their loneliness, comfort them. In their
sorrows, strengthen them. In their frustrations, point out to them that it is
through suffering that the soul is purified, and show them that they are needed by
the Church; they are needed by souls; they are needed for the work of
