Music is a special form of prayer and sets the mood of the liturgical celebration. Music provides an inviting call to the parish to participate. This ministry is always looking for additional people who love to praise our Lord in song through singing or playing an instrument. Traditional as well as Contemporary Christian music is used during liturgy. There are various opportunities of involvement such as cantors, choir, ensembles or instrumentalists. Come join us!

Our Parish is blessed to have so many parishioners participating in Music Ministy - nearly 150!
Thanks to all that were able to join us at The Lord's Pantry at Anna's House and the Music Ministry Picnic in June, 2010! We had a wonderful time!
Fall schedules for all ministries will appear soon so that all can mark their calendars.
St. Jude Church is serving breakfast Monday and Friday mornings at The Lord's Pantry at Anna's House. Please email Patty for more information. We could use the help.

Choirs, Ensembles and Cantors

St. Jude Church offers a variety of choirs to get involved.

Instrumentation

Currently St. Jude Church offers various types of instrumentation to enhance liturgy. Music Minsitry at St. Jude is always looking for more people to join our ensembles.

Flutes and strings rehearse every Wednesday with the Traditional Adult Choir.
The Brass ensemble containing trumpets, French horns and trombones rehearse Thursday evening prior to the fourth Sunday of each month.
Guitars, bass and drums rehearse the Monday prior to the second and fourth Saturday.
