The Secretariat for Pro-Life Activities, under the guidance and direction of the Committee for Pro-Life Activities, works to teach respect for all human life from conception to natural death, and organize for its protection. Below you will find a link to this national organization, which includes writings from the bishops as well as ways to make this teaching a part of your life.

Priests for Life
Priests for Life is an association of Catholic Clergy who give special emphasis to the pro-life teachings of the Church. They offer ongoing assistance to the clergy in addressing the topics of abortion and euthanasia, and training and resources to the entire pro-life movement.
National Committee for a Human Life Amendment
The National Committee for a Human Life Amendment is dedicated to pursuing this vision. The organization's objectives include educating citizens, developing pro-life legislative networks, and offering programs in support of pro-life legislation. Among its various activities, NCHLA produces educational and program resources, communicates with leaders about legislative priorities, and presents legislative seminars throughout the year. In a special way, NCHLA assists dioceses, state Catholic conferences, and Catholic lay groups. The Committee also works closely with the Secretariat for Pro-Life Activities of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops.

Site of Do No Harm: The Coalition of Americans for Research Ethics, offering background and current reports on ethics issues surrounding stem cell research.
Stem cell research promises great good and is a worthy scientific priority as long as we pursue it ethically. Obtaining stem cells from people without seriously harming people in the process can be ethical. However, obtaining stem cells from human embryos cannot be ethical because it necessarily involves destroying those embryos.
Hope After Abortion: Rachel's Project
For over 16 years, women and men have been coming to Project Rachel, the post-abortion ministry of the Catholic Church, for help in healing their emotional and spiritual wounds. The priests and counselors in the Project Rachel network understand the pain and loss that follow abortion. They have led thousands of grieving women and men from despair to hope and peace.

The Second Look Project presents basic facts about abortion.
