In the routine of our daily lives, we belong to professional organizations, school parent organizations, leagues, societies, groups, unions, and clubs. We don't think twice about our participation because it is so natural to associate with people whose interests are the same as our own. We share in discussions of those interests; our children and their schools, our jobs, and our families; events, hobbies, and recreation.
Christ Renews His Parish (CRHP ... often pronounced "chirp") provides an opportunity to meet with our neighbors in our church family and share the common interest of our Faith. For most people that, in itself, is a refreshing, and sometimes new, experience.
CRHP is also a place to learn that the people of God are indeed a joyful people and that fellowship and community are every bit as important to our faith as prayer and scripture.
Christ Renews His Parish is not a religious cult or a holy roller clique. It is a gathering of people who have found an improvement in their lives through shared faith, shared prayer, and shared fellowship.
The parish renewal that lies at the heart of Christ Renews His Parish is a process intended to spread and grow, one parishioner at a time.
However He has led you, the Holy Spirit has invited you to a renewal weekend.
Come prepared to have fun and renew your heart.

Prayer Support
In the past, the past presenting team has put together the Agape Service for the new presenting team. Another opportunity to spiritually support the retreatants is at the Holy Hour Prayer Service, which is held in the retreat chapel during the retreat reconciliation service on Saturday evening at 8:00 PM. We usually have a gathering prior to the retreats to pray for those who may be participating in the upcoming weekends.
If you wish to be involved in any way with prayer support or have any ideas, please contact the Continuation Committee.
Set-up and Clean-up
There is always the more unpleasant side of every gathering - the cleanup. But as the old saying goes - "Many hands make lightwork." On Sunday afternoon, somewhere around 3:00 PM, the work of cleanup begins. Trash must be taken to the school dumpster, beds stripped, linens washed, tables and chairs put back in place, food removed from the kitchen, etc. We guarantee a warm welcome and a great deal of appreciation to all who show up for this opportunity.
We always appreciate a few men to stop by on Saturday to haul trash bags out. If you have a truck, that is handy to transport the trash bags to the school dumpster.
