What is MOMS?
The mission of the Ministry of Mothers Sharing (M.O.M.S) is to create in women an awareness of the inner sacred self and teach them new ways to inspire, encourage and affirm each other. Through this personal and spiritual growth, women claim their own giftedness and bring these gifts to the Christian community.
How Does it Work?
M.O.M.S involves 8 weekly sessions consisting of a small group of mothers, journaling, praying and sharing their experiences of motherhood. These sessions are facilitated by previous M.O.M.S participants, who value the sacredness of motherhood.
Calendar for 2010-2011
We look forward to another wonderful year. Our new core team is 40 members strong and filled with a passion for Christian based motherhood. Look for information about M.O.M.S. in upcoming parish publications.
- Information Social: November 30, 2010 in the Parish Center, 7pm
- Regular Sessions: begin Tues, Jan 11, 2011 & meet weekly until March 2011.
- Day Session - Tuesdays from 9am to 11am.
- Evening Sessions: Tuesdays from 7pm to 9pm
- Brunch: Saturday, March 5, 2011, 8:45am
- Homecoming: Tuesday April 12, 7pm
